ANA Event in Phoenix, AZ

The Association of National Advertisers met recently in Phoenix, Arizona for their annual conference and we were there to provide our video services. We were tasked with creating captivating photomontages of the preceding day's events that were featured every morning of the conference. It was no easy task to impress seasoned marketers and advertisers from some of the nation's top companies, including Yahoo, Google and AOL, but we were up to the task. Relying on stunning photos from Orlando-based photographer Kevin Keelan and incorporating video from Jay Lavely (who produced the photo and video segments), I think we lived up to the challenge. In attendance were some very cool celebrity entertainers, including, Kevin Bacon, Tony Danza, Simon Baker of The Mentalist and Jane Krakowski of 30 Rock. Here are a few of the photos...

Harrison's Bar Mitzvah Highlight

This was an awesome event with fantastic highlights -- trampoline acrobats, stunning dance team, kickin' DJ, fabulous decor and at the heart of it, a very cool guest of honor. We loved working with Harrison and his entire family and had a great time capturing this event.

Saira & Jung, United Nations Wedding

Shooting in NYC is always a thrill -- but even more so at a place like the United Nations. Breathtaking views, an iconic venue and a fantastic couple made this shoot one of my favorites yet. You'll only see it for a moment, but we even got to spend a few minutes in the General Assembly hall.

We had a blast with Saira and Jung. They kept us laughing most of the day, and the blending of cultures and military regalia made this one of the most visually stunning weddings we've ever been a part of.

Rylan's First Birthday Cake

My son, Rylan, just turned 1 year old this past weekend and of course, I had my camera ready. I wasn't as vicious with my edit as I usually am (can you blame me?), so it's a little longer than I'd like, but gosh, it's cute. Enjoy! B.

Kristen kept me laughing the whole day -- and I really appreciate that!  They are such a quirky, fun pair and I had a great time capturing their day.  Special thanks to my friend and fellow videographer Schuyler Osbourne for turning me on to Telepopmusik!

Your Wedding TV Bridal Show Appearance

Brian and Liz strike a pose!

This past weekend, we attended the Your Wedding TV Wedding and Women's Show at the Wyndham Orlando.  It was a fantastic show, and a great opportunity for us to meet couples face to face.  We had a blast and are already planning on attending the next event in August.

Thanks to all the great couples who stopped by to chat, as well as their friends and family.  We truly enjoyed meeting all of you.  We also wanted to thank all the great vendors who dropped by (old friends and new).  We really appreciated the support.

Special Thanks to Karen Lee, Bruce Reynolds and Leigh Taylor for the photo!

New Look, Enhanced Style, Same great team

Brian, Steven and Jay taking a break at the Grand Bohemian

Well, I haven't been posting much lately because we've been really busy catching up, gearing up and making some big changes to our look and branding. I couldn't be happier with how the new website and logo turned out, and I really hope you all enjoy it as well. I think they really capture our vision of light, whimsy and romance.

We're expanding our already popular documentary services to include family biographies and legacy videos, in addition to Wedding Story options. We've got a few in the works and we look forward to showcasing one on our site soon.

We've also got a lot of new features in the works, including original video content just for brides. "Coordinator's Corner" will be a regular series showcasing some of the countries top coordinators sharing their favorite wedding planning tips.

Of course, we'll continue to focus on our goal of giving every client the personal touch with an emphasis on creating a wow experience and great customer service.

We're so happy with where we've been and where we are -- but we're really excited about where we're going. And we look forward to going there with you!

Best Wishes,

Brian Bazala

A Videographer's Valentine's Day Wish

I wanted to share with you all an excerpt from a Love Letter of sorts written by a fellow Wedding Filmmaker, Laura Moses of Vantage Point Productions of San Dimas, CA. I hope it touches your heart as much as it did mine.

Love, madness, obsession—this story has it all. It’s mostly about love. But wait, I’m getting ahead of myself.

We videographers suffer from back pain and backlog; and befitting the afflicted, as editors, we live the bulk of our lives in pajamas. We have oversized hearts. Together we congregate sharing moments captured through that extension of ourselves we call a camera, and we weep. We weep for the beauty, the loss, and the sheer life we experience through the portal of our lens, which takes us deep into the lives of others.

Brawny men with bulging, Glidecam biceps, break down like little boys.

And we laugh. We laugh at the antics of the inebriated, the fad-fashion faux pas, the disasters, and all the drama; these are the ingredients that coalesce to create the deliciously, quirky gumbo of humanity known as a wedding.

The lack of a perfect wedding never stops us from pursuing the creation of a perfect film. Neurotically, we obsess over thrilling our clients. Our goal: to prove—once and for all—that a wedding film is priceless.

We will not rest until we enlighten the macrocosm to the magnificent glory of a great video. It’s a long road we tread on this mission, finding success one client and one gig at a time.

We work with music, hearts, and dreams. We’re the keepers of the flame for future generations. After we’re gone there will be pieces of us—little bits of our hearts—scattered across the globe, telling stories about love.

Thank You Very Much

This is a copy of a Thank You card I just received from Ayana & David. It was so sweet, I wanted to share it.

"Hey Brian,

Just want to say that we truly enjoyed working with you. We are happy to know that we made the right choice in choosing a videographer. Your professional attention to detail and creative style shined through and sets you apart from all the rest. Thank you for capturing our love story and bringing it to life.

Take Care and God Bless,

Ayana & David Reid"
